French FM condemns Ahmadinejad comments on Israel

French FM condemns Ahmadinejad comments on IsraelFrench Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy on Friday condemned as 'unacceptable' the latest anti-Israeli outburst by Iran's president, in which he predicted the collapse of the Jewish state.
"I condemn the unacceptable remarks made today by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad calling into question, once again, the existence of the state of
Israel," Douste-Blazy said in a statement.
The comments by Ahmadinejad -- who has been castigated by world powers for his vehement anti-Israeli stance -- came as tens of thousands marched through Tehran in an annual pro-Palestinian protest.
"This regime (Israel) will be gone, definitely," he told the protestors, as he issued an "ultimatum" to Western powers warning they would face the "boiling wrath" of the people if they continue to support the Jewish state.
The Iranian leader has previously called for Israel to be "wiped from the map" and described the Holocaust as a myth.
