10 killed in Moroccan rains
At least 10 people died and one was missing after strong rains hit Morocco's south-western Essaouira and Safi provinces on Wednesday, the country's 2M public television channel announced on Friday.
In a previous toll on Thursday, Essaouira'a local authorities announced four deaths in Takat and Tamanar and two people reported missing.
On Friday, 2M said that a flooded wadi, or watercourse, in the town of Safi caused the deaths of six members of the same family, who were swept away in a taxi. The town is some 350 kilometres (217 miles) south-west of the capital Rabat.
