Two planes scrape wings at major US airport

Two planes scrape wings at major US airportThe wings of two moving aircraft hit each other on the tarmac at Newark International Airport outside New York City late on Tuesday, but no one was injured, the Port Authority said.
A Lufthansa Boeing 747, with 294 passengers and crew aboard, was rolling toward its arrival gate when it bumped wings with a Continental Boeing 757 which at the time was empty and being towed.
"No one was hurt" and airport operations were not affected, Port Authority spokesman Alan Hicks said.
An investigation was launched into the incident, which Hicks said was "not very common."
