Pakistan's wholesale price index (WPI) rose 8.30 percent in April from a year ago, the Federal Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.
The WPI was up 1.68 percent over March, 2009. The WPI in March was up 0.42 percent from February.
Using 200001 as the base year, the CPI stood at 198.28 against 195.00 in March.
