Pakistan sees $10bn in foreign investments by Sept
Foreign investments in Pakistan are expected to reach $10 billion by September this year while remittance payments are on the rise, the country's investment minister said on Wednesday.
Waqar Ahmed Khan told a press conference remittances reached $1.36 billion in the period from July 2008 to April 2009 compared to $1.02 billion in the same period of the previous year.
He said foreign investments in the energy sector had reached $2 billion.
