130th Corps Commanders’ Conference was held at General Headquarters on Friday. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani chaired the conference that was a part of regular monthly meetings.
According to ISPR press release issued here, COAS in his opening remarks expressed satisfaction over the progress of ongoing operation against terrorists in Fata. He regretted the loss of precious lives in the recent terrorist attacks and reiterated to continue efforts to remove the menace of terrorism from the country.
The participants took a comprehensive overview of the security situation and expressed satisfaction over operational readiness of the Army.
