Nazim Karachi, Syed Mustafa Kamal has expressed concern over acute power crisis and long hours of load-shedding causing industrial losses and inconvenience to the citizens.
He has also asked the KESC management to employe available resources and immediately control the power crisis.
In a statement on Monday, the City Nazim pointed out that City Government has endeavoured to provide every help to KESC so that problems being faced by people could be overcome but the situation is not showing any improvement.
He said that apprehensions are growing that present power supply situation and prolong load-shedding may affect industrial production in Karachi.
"Being a representative of people, it is my responsibility to convey the concern and problems of people to KESC management", he said and demanded of KESC to take immediate steps to overcome the ongoing crisis.
He once again offered all help and cooperation of City Government to KESC in this regard.
