Since a hoard of Bollywood bigwigs are hopping on to the small screen these days, guess they could get some inspiration from Salman Khan as he’s already a rage on TV.
According to the latest buzz, Salman Khan has been roped in by a TV channel for the third time for hosting the upcoming season of hit show ‘Dus Ka Dum’. And that’s not all, for ‘DKD Season 3’, Salman has been signed on for twice the fee that he was paid for the last season of the show.
Sources reveal that Salman, who got about Rs 80 lakh per episode, for 25 episodes of the show last year, has reportedly been signed on for an amount between Rs 1.25 crore and Rs 1.5 crore.
Confirming the news, sources from the channel told a news daily, “Salman will definitely get more this year and he deserves it too. The channel at this juncture, needs his support. His show has brought the channel decent TRPs and viable star value. The ratings of most of their other shows are hardly impressive. So, getting him back is the need of the hour.”
The show is expected to go on air between July and August.
