Firefighters managed to extinguish a fire that affected two floors of a 13-story commercial building on MA Jinnah Road in Karachi on Tuesday, with no injuries reported.
According to Rescue 1122, their fire and rescue team, equipped with two ambulances, four fire trucks, and a snorkel, arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the alert about the blaze at Rimpa Plaza.
The fire originated on the fourth floor, and rescue officials noted that efforts to control the fire were hampered by poor ventilation within the building.
After several hours of intensive work, the fire was ultimately brought under control.
According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122, rescue teams were dispatched immediately after the alarm was raised, including fire brigade trucks and ambulances.
As the blaze spread, the building was evacuated, and efforts to control the fire are currently ongoing.
Fortunately, there have been no immediate reports of injuries related to the incident.
