A Brazilian woman was apprehended at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Thursday after authorities found 1.396 kilograms of cocaine concealed in her belongings.
The cocaine has an estimated market value of around Rs13.9 million.
The woman arrived at the airport on a private flight, and officials reported that the drugs were hidden in plastic bags. She now faces charges under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
This arrest adds to the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in Pakistan.
