WhatsApp is set to improve user experience with the introduction of new themed icons designed for better chat recognition.
According to WEBetaInfo, these vibrant icons will replace the current neutral grey icons used for contacts and group chats, making it easier for users to identify conversations at a glance.
The new themed icons will be particularly beneficial for users whose contacts and group chats lack profile photos or when privacy settings hide these images.
Currently, this feature is available to select beta testers using the latest version of WhatsApp beta for Android (2.24.24.12), while others will need to wait as the rollout continues.
