A shootout occurred in the Sumbal police station area of Islamabad, resulting in the death of a suspect, Suleman, who was in police custody.
Police were transporting Suleman, who was involved in recent bank robberies, to recover stolen property when the incident took place.
Near Golra Mor, suspects opened fire on the police party. The police officers, wearing bulletproof vests, were unharmed.
However, Suleman sustained serious injuries from the gunfire.
