Renowned Pakistani musician and former Jal band founder, Goher Mumtaz, has he opened up about his relationships with fellow artists Atif Aslam and Farhan Saeed.
In a recent interview with Ahmad Ali Butt, Mumtaz revealed that he was deeply hurt by Atif’s comments during an interview with Samina Peerzada, especially given their previous close relationship.
However, Mumtaz noted that Atif later reached out to apologize, acknowledging that his remarks were inappropriate, allowing their friendship to mend.
Aslam explained that his comments were made unintentionally and were a result of being prompted by Samina’s questions. He admitted he should have been more careful with his words during the interview.
Mumtaz also addressed his previous remarks about Farhan Saeed, clarifying that he did not intend to speak negatively about him.
He expressed regret for any misunderstandings caused by his comments, which were misinterpreted online.
Mumtaz emphasized that his intention was merely to discuss the challenges he faced after Aslam departed from Jal and not to undermine Saeed’s talent.
