A brother and sister died after allegedly ingesting poison pills after a minor argument.
The tragic incident unfolded in the Qila Dedar Singh area of Gujranwala.
Police reports indicate that the family of the deceased shared a written statement revealing that 35-year-old Aasia had been divorced five years prior and was living with her parents.
During a recent disagreement, her younger brother made a hurtful remark about her divorce, which profoundly affected Aasia, prompting her to consume the poisonous pills.
Witnesses reported that upon seeing his sister take the pills, the brother also took one for himself. Despite being rushed to the hospital, both siblings tragically passed away before receiving medical attention.
