A closed-door subcommittee meeting was chaired by Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar, to discuss draft constitutional amendments submitted by the government and other political parties.
The meeting included political leaders from multiple parties such as Naveed Qamar, Anusha Rahman, Barrister Gohar, and Kamran Murtaza.
The subcommittee aims to synthesize the various proposals into a unified draft, which will be presented to the Parliamentary Special Committee tomorrow afternoon.
The Parliamentary Special Committee meeting is being held at the law minister’s House.
It follows a meeting yesterday where all parties except the PTI submitted proposals and drafts, leading to the formation of this subcommittee.
