The Punjab Police Special Operations Cell has apprehended a fugitive wanted in a murder case after 16 years, in a successful operation conducted in Oman.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, the fugitive, who was wanted for the murder of a civilian in 2008, had been evading Punjab Police for 16 years.
He was apprehended in Oman with the assistance of Interpol.
The spokesperson further stated that the total number of fugitives apprehended this year has reached 73.
