The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has held a meeting with representatives of oil marketing companies to address concerns regarding the country’s high-speed diesel (HSD) stockpiles.
An OGRA spokesperson confirmed that key decisions were made during the meeting, including the postponement of September cargo shipments for major import oil marketing companies.
The spokesperson further stated that three cargo shipments scheduled for October will be either adjusted or canceled, while December cargo shipments will also be subject to cancellation if deemed necessary.
OGRA has instructed that existing cargo shipments already in the country be stored in bonded storage and will not be available for sale until the end of September.
