A woman was brutally attacked with acid by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law in the city of Burewala, Punjab, after a minor argument.
The victim sustained severe burns to her face, neck, and arms. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred following a verbal altercation between the woman and her in-laws. The motive behind the attack is believed to be a family dispute.
Police have registered a case and arrested the accused, the woman’s sister-in-law and brother-in-law. The investigation is ongoing.
