Protests erupt after missing PTI leader’s body found in Peshawar

The discovery of a missing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader’s body in Peshawar has triggered widespread protests and demands for justice.

The deceased, identified as Yaqub Khan, who served as the PTI’s District Senior Vice President, had been missing for several days. His body was eventually found in the Matni area of Peshawar, Express tribune reported.

Upon the discovery of Yaqub Khan’s remains, his family and a large number of PTI supporters gathered at the Bab-e-Khyber, staging a protest. They placed the body in front of the landmark, demanding the arrest of those responsible for Khan’s death.

The protesters, who blocked the Jamrud Bazaar Road, vowed to continue their demonstration until the culprits are apprehended. They expressed outrage over the tragic incident and called for a thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
