Actress Resham accuses filmmaker Syed Noor of derailing her career

Renowned Pakistani actress Resham has leveled serious allegations against veteran filmmaker Syed Noor, claiming he was responsible for the downfall of her once-thriving film career.

Resham, who enjoyed widespread acclaim for her performances in popular TV and movie projects like ‘Jeeva’ and ‘Sangam’, stated that Noor’s favoritism towards another actress, Saima, led him to stop offering her roles in his productions.

“Syed Noor was the only director who understood my acting style, but he stopped giving me work because of his affection for Saima Ji,” Resham revealed, adding that Noor had even “insulted” her on set and questioned why anyone would cast her in their films.

The actress defended her own filmography, stating that every actor has a mix of successful and unsuccessful projects. “Prove to me which actor has only done good work. We all have ups and downs, but everyone thinks only Resham made bad films,” she argued.

Resham, who has taken a step back from acting in recent years to focus on charitable work, said Noor’s remarks about her being an “unfortunate actress” who “ruined herself” by appearing in low-budget productions were deeply hurtful.
