Five dead, three injured in Rescue 1122 ambulance collision with oil tanker

At least five individuals died and three were injured in Rescue 1122 ambulance collided with an oil tanker.

The ambulance was transporting a stroke patient from Attock to Rawalpindi.

The stroke patient was being shifted to a hospital in Rawalpindi due to a lack of facilities at the Attock District Hospital.

In the ambulance a rescue medical technician, the patient, and three of the patient’s relatives lost their lives.

The deceased individuals in the accident have been identified as 32-year-old rescue worker Imran, 52-year-old Shaheen, 70-year-old Kamna Bibi, 44-year-old Riaz, and 40-year-old Samina Bibi, while the ambulance driver, Waqar Ahmed, sustained severe injuries, and the other injured individuals include 60-year-old Abdul Waheed and 36-year-old Rukhsana Bibi.
