A bus carrying wedding guests overturned near Lal Qila on Karachi’s Sharae Faisal Road, resulting in the death of one woman and injuries to several others.

The deceased and injured were transported to a nearby hospital.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when a car collided with the bus, causing it to overturn. Other vehicles were also damaged in the incident.

The bus, carrying approximately 40 people, was traveling from Drigh Road to Manzoor Colony.

An eyewitness that the driver was speeding and attempting to overtake another bus. He believes the driver lost control while trying to avoid a collision.

The deceased woman was a resident of Interior Sindh. The bus driver fled the scene after the accident.

The eyewitness also mentioned that the majority of the passengers on the bus were women.
