The federal government has announced three holidays for Eidul Azha.
The holidays will begin on Monday, June 17, which will fall on the first day of Eid, and end on Wednesday, June 19.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the holidays by approving a summary sent by the cabinet division.
Eidul Azha is one of the holiest days of the year for Muslims, who offer sacrifice to purify their deeds and wealth every year.
Holidays are traditionally announced for the first two days of Hajj as well, which fall on Saturday and Sunday this year.
