A viral image of a Rawalpindi police officer in inappropriate attire while attending to a female complainant has sparked outrage and cast a shadow over police reforms.

The image shows Sub-Inspector Aijaz Ghuman, in charge of the Gulraiz Chowki under Airport Police Station, wearing a white vest while listening to a female complainant.

The incident has drawn criticism from members of the public, who have expressed their disappointment at the sub-inspector’s attire and its impact on the image of the police force.

Responding to the controversy, Sub-Inspector Ghuman claimed that he received a call at 2:15 AM.

He alleged that a fellow sub-inspector brought the female complainant directly to his room instead of attending to her himself.
