Several parents in Islamabad have demanded waiver of fees during the summer break as private educational institutions sent them fee vouchers for the two-month holiday.
They have argued the old tradition of paying fees during the vacation, demanding relief amid inflation in the country.
It merits here to mention that students also have to pay the transport fee for the two months.
One of the parents said that it was a “big burden” for the daily wage earners. Another parent also echoed the same statements and added that they were concerned about it.
Experts have suggested that private school fees should be reduced by half for the summer break only including the tuition fee to lower the burden on parents.
