A passenger coach traveling from Turbat to Quetta plunged into a ravine, tragically killing 28 people.

Women and children are said to be among the dead.

Initial reports indicated that the accident occurred near Basima – around 700 kilometres from Quetta – after a tyre of the speeding bus.

Rescue operations are ongoing, and the injured are being transported to hospitals.
