In an announcement made for the citizens on the occasion of Eid al-Adha next year, it has been declared that there will be a continuous five-day holiday. The government of the United Arab Emirates has announced that it will grant its citizens five holidays on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
According to reports, Eid al-Adha in the United Arab Emirates is predicted to take place on Monday, June 17, 2024, including the weekend of Sunday. This means that a total of five days of holidays, from Monday to Thursday, will be observed.
On the other hand, no announcement has been made regarding Eid al-Adha holidays in Pakistan so far.
If the month of Dhul-Qadah in Pakistan consists of 29 days, then the start of Dhul-Hijjah will be on June 8, and accordingly, Eid al-Adha can be celebrated on Monday, June 17.
However, if the month consists of 30 days, then the month of Dhul-Hijjah of the Islamic year 1445 will begin from June 9, and Eid al-Adha will be observed on Tuesday, June 18.
In Bangladesh as well, an announcement has been made to grant five holidays on the occasion of Eid al-Adha this year.
According to a Bangladeshi news website, government employees will be given five holidays on Eid al-Adha.
According to the list of public holidays, in addition to Friday and Saturday, three extra days (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) have been included in the employees’ holidays.
