The value of the US dollar decreased against the Pakisani rupee in the currency market on Tuesday.

The open market witnessed a decrease of 5 paisas in the price of the dollar. Consequently, the dollar was traded at Rs279.50 in the open market.

In the interbank market, there was a marginal decrease of 2 paisas in the value of the dollar.

According to State Bank, the interbank rate for the dollar closed at Rs. 278.18.
