Want to quit smoking in Ramazan, here is the answer

Many smokers have complained that they want to quit smoking but cannot. This piece will help them in quitting the habit. Tib-e-Nabvi research scholar Agha Abbas Alsyed answered this query in the Ramazan transmission of Aaj News.

“In today’s world, people are learning from social media but still addicted persons cannot quit smoking and substance abuse,” he said.

According to Abbas, whenever someone desires a smoke they should take half a quarter of good quality Fennel seeds (soonf) and cook it in the desi ghee of cow or buffalo. When it returns to room temperature keep it in a jar of glass.

“Whenever you have a desire for smoking, take half a teaspoon,” he said and ruled out any impression that the person would get addicted to Fennel seeds while consuming it often.

“You can also have one teaspoon,” he said and added that it would improve the digestive system.

Abbas said that sour grapes and two to three drops of lemons are also good.

Many people still want to smoke despite being in severe illness. For them, Abbas said that they should drench Tamarind (imli) 50 gram in water for two hours. Later, squeeze it by hand. Then add desi sugar (jaggery) in it and then extract one glass from it with a strainer. Drink that substance three times a day and the desire for smoking will end.

According to Abbas, he has helped hundreds of people quit smoking by this method.
