A new westerly wind system will enter Pakistan today which could lead to rain and snow in multiple parts of the country for the next three days.
According to the Pakistan Meterological Department, upper Punjab, upper Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan can receive rain.
The weather is generally expected to be cold and dry in Sindh, with very little chance of rain.
Meanwhile, temperatures could plummet further in the northern parts of the country. Kalam has already recorded temperatures of -9 degrees.
However, rainfall has been predicted in 28 districts of Balochistan till March 13. The province is already reeling from the effects of rain earlier this month.
More details to come.
