The 15th Karachi Literature Festival concluded on Sunday. More than 24 sessions on a wide variety of topics were conducted on the third and final day of the event.
Climate change and sustainability, politics in Pakistan, society, law and education were discussed in the group sessions held at the Beach Luxury Hotel in the city.
At least 11 books were launched on the final day of the event.
A theatre play named Ladies Taylor was also staged at the event. Moreover, Hasnain Kazim, Jibran Nasir, Asma Shirazi, Harris Khalique participated in a session on ‘Human Rights And Wrongs’. It was moderated by Ghazi Salahuddin.
The event closed with speeches by Najeeba Arif and Joseph Massad and qawwali by Qawal Najmuddin Saifuddin & Brothers.
