Lahore High Court disposed of complaints against 18 successful candidates in the general elections on Monday and told the petitioners to approach the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Justice Baqir Najafi announced the reserved verdict on Monday in cases filed against the victories of Maryam Nawaz, Awn Chaudhry, Khawaja Asif, Aleem Khan and Atta Tarar.
Petitions were also filed against Saif-ul-Mulook Khokhar, Malik Shakir Bashir Awan, Irfan Shafi Khokhar, Malik Khalid Khokhar, Faisal Ikram and Chaudhry Muhammad Mansha, Rana Abdul Sattar and Mian Haroon Akbar.
The judge ruled that the petitioners should first approach the ECP with complaints of rigging in the elections.
The court had earlier asked the ECP to submit a response on the matter.
For its part, ECP has already withheld the official notifications of over 20 constituencies over complaints of rigging.
