Days after tightening the dependent visa rules, Kuwait has announced changes to the regulations to obtain regular residency for family members, Gulf News reported on Saturday.
The recently introduced regulatory measures require expats to have a monthly salary of 800 Kuwaiti Dinar, a university degree, and a relevant profession.
However, the Kuwaiti government has exempted several professions from the degree requirement.
Additionally, children born in Kuwait or abroad (aged 0-5) with parents living in Kuwait are exempt from the salary requirement, subject to the approval of the authorities.
