The Pakistan Stock Exchange continued the bullish trend on Wednesday as the benchmark KSE-100 Index closed in the green zone.
The 100 Index gained 368.21 points or 0.57% to settle at 64,822.43 levels at the closing of the market.
Similarly, the KSE-30 Index added 154.60 points or 0.71% to reach 21,906.8 points at the closing of the trading session.
A total of 479.98 million shares valuing Rs22.501 billion were traded during the day compared with 425.7 million shares valuing Rs24.995 billion the last day.
As many as 353 companies transacted their shares in the stock market, out of which 199 recorded gains and 131 sustained losses, while the share prices of 23 remained unchanged.
The three top-trading companies were K-Electric Limited with 67.84 million shares at Rs5.42 per share, Hascol Petrol with 39.61 million shares at Rs8.4 per share and Pak Petroleum with 34.47 million shares at Rs127.70 per share.
