Actor Sajid Hasan on Sunday announced joining the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) ahead of the February 8 polls.
“I want to do something for the people of Pakistan. It is up to the leaders of the party how they utilise my services,” he said as IPP Sindh President Mahmood Moulvi accompanied him in a video posted on X.
Hasan urged for the need to look on the positive side of politics and acknowledge those who have done good service for the people and the country.
“We need to forgive and move forward together,” he said.
He thanked Moulvi for the invitation to join the IPP, saying that he was honoured by the gesture.
The IPP is led by Jahangir Tareen which also includes several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) formal leaders who quit the party after the May 9 riots.
