Days after the launching of AI-powered Copilot platform app on Android, Microsoft on Saturday rolled out the app’s iOS and iPadOS version available to download from the Apple App Store, The Verge reported.
The app will give Apple device users access to Microsoft Copilot, formerly known as Bing Chat, and will work similarly to OpenAI’s ChatGPT mobile app.
The app allows users to you questions, draft emails, and summarise text, along with creating images through an integration with the text-to-image generator DALL-E3.
Microsoft on December 26 launched a dedicated app for its AI-powered Copilot platform in the Google Play Store for Android.
The new app offers access to Microsoft’s Copilot without the need for the Bing mobile app.
Earlier this year, Microsoft announced a new AI-powered version of its Bing search engine integrating a ChatGPT-like interface directly into its search results.
Later, it moved to drop the Bing Chat branding and adopted Copilot which deploys a similar interface to that of ChatGPT.
