Gold prices fell by Rs900 per tola on Saturday, as the jewelers association announced the latest rates for January 1.

In a statement, the association said that the rate of per tola gold reached Rs220,000 after a fall of Rs900 in its value. Moreover, the 10-gram gold decreased by Rs771.

The gold fell by $8 in the international market to reach $2,082 per ounce.
