Bilawal calls on voters to deliver ‘surprise’ on election day

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that he understands the feelings of the people of Balochistan and added he also passed through the same pain of injustice that residents of Balochistan are facing after losing loved ones.

Speaking to the Balochistan High Court Bar Association, Bilawal said that people of the country will have to be made partners in political, economic and social matters.

Talking about the upcoming elections on February 8, Bilawal said that the country was being told that a person who has been prime minister three times will be selected for the next five years and he will save the country from the crises it is facing.

He also criticised Imran Khan without naming him, saying that a 70-year-old man was claiming to be the leader of the youth in the country.

“I don’t have any objection that he is older, age doesn’t matter if you can determine a new direction for the country,” He said.

The former foreign minister requested the youth to surprise everyone by coming out in large numbers on the day of the poll and not re-elect those who promoted hate, and division and who ignored the issues of the nation.

“The time has come when we have to give the responsibility of Pakistan’s future to the public,” he said, and added: “When people decide nothing can stop them.”

“Some people think that they have decided for the public, has the system been running for 70 years given justice to people?” He added that some ‘elders’ still have the same old thoughts about how the country should be run.

“You and I will make a new history together, we can change the fate of this country,” he said.

Moreover, he added that Asif Ali Zardari founded China Pakistan Economic Corridor but it is regretful that his thoughts and intentions were not implemented in this project
