Farah Gogi travelled outside Pakistan on Vanuatu passport: sources

Farhat Shahzadi travelled outside Pakistan on a Vanuatu passport that was provided to her through a Pakistani property tycoon, sources claimed on Sunday.

The sources claimed that Imran Khan and Bushra Begum obtained the passport through the son of a famous property tycoon, days before the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government was dismissed in a no-confidence motion.

The tycoon’s son reportedly made a payment of $130,000 for the passport from Vanuatu.

The passport was allegedly handed over to Bushra Begum on March 28, 2022 who then handed it over to Shahzadi, more popularly known as Farah Gogi.

On April 3, days before the no-confidence vote succeeded in removing Khan, Gogi left the country on her Pakistani passport.

However, she travelled the rest of the way on her Vanuatu passport to keep her movment secret from investigation agencies.

The sources also claimed that Gogi’s international travels and international bank accounts were also based on the Vanuatu passport.

Gogi, who is accused of being the frontperson of Bushra Begum and Imran Khan, has not returned to the country since last April. A few days earlier, reports had claimed that her assets had grown by Rs4,520 million between 2017-20.
