Karachi police has resolved the matter of dual murder attempted last month when two state agents were killed in personal enmity. Police have arrested a suspect who brought killers to Karachi.
The incident happened on September 30 when the killers hired from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa entered a state agency located in Somar Goth Malir and opened fire on Athar Gul and Zawar Khokar.
The police termed the incident a result of personal enmity and said the killers were hired to take revenge on Ali Khokar and his father Zawar Khokar, but Ali had gotten out of the agency five minutes before the murder.
Malir’s Senior Superintendent Police Zahida Parveen said that Ali Raza Khokar had killed Bashir Afridi over two years ago and was acquitted from the case.
She added that Bashir’s father, Mosa Khan Afridi hired two killers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Jamrood and sent them to Karachi with his arrested son-in-law Zarif on September 10.
Earlier of the incident Mosa Afridi and his son Shabbir exited the country on September 13 and were not arrested yet.
