NAB summons 4 more ministers from Imran’s cabinet

The National Accountability Bureau has summoned four ministers from Imran Khan’s former cabinet in the £190 million case.

The four former ministers who have been summoned include Faisal Vawda, Ali Zaidi, Farogh Naseem and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.

Former cabinet members Sania Nishtar and Amin Aslam have already recorded their statements in the case. Khan’s former Principal Secretary Azam Khan also recorded his statement in the case in July.

The case involves the transfer of £190 million from UK to Pakistan through a National Crimes Agency Settlement with Malik Riaz. The case was previously called the Al-Qadir trust case.

It accuses former PM Khan of collusion and corruption that prevented money meant for the national exchequer back to the property tycoon. It also accuses Imran of receivng land for the Al-Qadir trust in return, which is overseen by his wife, Bushra Bibi.
