The Pakistani rupee continues to depreciate vis-a-vis the US dollar. The greenback on Thursday hit an all-time high of Rs300 in interbank.
Following the appreciation of Rs0.37, the US dollar completed its ‘triple-century’ in interbank, as many TV channels would put it using cricket jargon.
A day earlier, the US dollar reached Rs312 in the open market after it recorded a significant increase of Rs6 while the inter-bank market managed to keep the dollar below the Rs300 mark.
The greenback was trading at Rs299.01 at the closing of the interbank the previous day.
