Anju, who crossed borders to marry for love, is now longing to return to India, an Indian news wesbsite has claimed.
The website, which is not particularly well known, has attributed some statements to Anju that were apprently told to the BBC in an interview. However, the supposed BBC interview could not be found.

Media reports had earlier indicated that Anju had come to Pakistan to meet her frind Nasrullah in Upper Dir. However, both soon tied the knot and Anju converted to Islam.
The article claims that Anju said that even though everything in Pakistan had turned out well, she had made some ‘mistakes’ which had led to criticism on her family. She said that the comments about her family had made her ‘upset’.
The article said that Anju was worried about the impression created about her children and she now wanted to go back.
She apparently also said that she was prepared to face the Indian media upon her return and had answers to all their questions. She also said she would explain to the Indian media that there were no compulsions on her and she had been treated well.
However, the article claims she tried to wants to meet her children.
