Investigations into the Zhob garrison attacks have revealed that the attackers used American weapons.
The attackers belonged to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and used equipment left behind by American forces while leaving Afghanistan.
The terroritsts killed in the attack used M-16 assault rifles and were even clad in the gloves, helmets and uniforms belonging to the US army.
Reports say that TTP’s usage of American equipment is not a new incident and is actually part of a long pattern.
The attack on Zhob garrison killed five Pakistani soldiers. Clearance operations by security forces had also led to all five TTP attackers being killed.
