Google announced 44,500 scholarships to Pakistanis last month, however, many of us are unaware of the details about them.
Through these scholarships, the search engine giant would provide an opportunity for youngsters to learn high in demand digital skills.
So how can you avail it? It is very simple by going through the Google Career Certificates (GCC) programme, which was launched last year.
The American technological giant has introduced three new courses among the wide range of other digital skills.
Business Intelligence, Advanced Data Analytics, and Cybersecurity are the new entities under the GCC programme.
These courses were added to the GCC program in collaboration with IRM and TechValley. These courses will equip learners with employer-recognized certificates in high-demand fields.
As per Google’s findings, employees consider digital skills crucial and with 57.3% identifying them as the most important to acquire. It not only enhances job prospects but also improves confidence and competence in areas such as communication, analysis, and critical thinking.
Moreover, about 47% of employees consider soft skills important for upskilling with adaptability, flexibility, and communication being the top priorities.

According to Google, the additional scholarships will offer more opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to access digital skills training.
