Sheikh Rasheed claimed he had sent a message to the ‘head of the most powerful institution’ of Pakistan, that justice must prevail. He was addressing the media after appearing at a sessions court in Islamabad on Saturday.
“I was considering retirement from politics, but after this I’ve decided I’m going to come after them,” he said referring to the leadership of the PML-N and PPP.
He also added that he had sent a message to powerful quarters saying that justice must be carried out.
Sheikh Rasheed was released on bail by the Islamabad High Court on Thursday. The police has finally submitted a challan against him in court on Saturday. The court fixed an indictment date for March 2, and asked him to ensure his presence.
“I fell I will be sent back to jail, so I’ve left half of my belongings there,” he said.
He added that the Islamabad police had robbed his house, and his belongings had still not been returned.
“They even took the food from my house,” he said.
