Meta-owned social media site, Instagram, has released a new Twitter like feature, which will allow the users to send only text and emoji in posts.
The feature is called ‘Notes’ that enables the users to publish as much as 60 characters in a note.
It is very simple, go to the top of your inbox, select the followers you follow back or people on your Close Friends list, and your note will appear at the top of their inbox for 24 hours. Replies to notes will arrive as direct messages (DM) in your inbox.
The feature will be available for users from December 14.
Moreover, the company is set to be unveiling two new features namely ‘Candid Stories’ and Group Profiles’.
Both the aforementioned features are in testing phase and will be available for users in the near future.
