The Youtube service was disrupted in parts of Pakistan on Tuesday night as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan addressed party workers at a public gathering in Peshawar.
NetBlocks, the verified account of an organisation that tracks internet outages, tweeted that metrics corroborated reports of a new disruption to YouTube in Pakistan.
The same was reported by social media users as the YouTube service experienced disruption across Pakistan.
Meanwhile, #YouTubeDown began a top trend on Pakistani Twitter.
The YouTube ban won’t stop us or Imran Khan, said a tweet from the official account of PTI.
