As the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan suceeded, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governors Imran Ismaeel and Shah Farman resigned from their posts.
Attorney General of Pakistan Khalid Javed Khan also tendered his resignation, according to media reports.
Aaj News reported that Shah Farman had announced his decision to resign on the day when Shehbaz Sharif would win the vote of no confidence in parliament. Sources claimed that Faram was of the view that he cannot "give the protocol of prime minister" to Shehbaz.
