New data issued by the National Command and Operation Center on Tuesday shows 3,221 new coronavirus cases were reported in Pakistan. 95 people died in the last 24 hours.
Tuesday's results by NCOC also show that 4,291 people recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.
NCOC said 48,181 COVID-19 tests were conducted of which 3,221 tested positive. The positivity rate stands at 6.68%.
A story in Reuters estimates Pakistan is reporting 4,351 new infections on average each day, 74% of the peak — the highest daily average reported on June 17.
The total number of positive cases has crossed a million and stands at 1,105,300, whereas 993,304 have recovered from coronavirus and 24,573 have died.
